Well i have finally got my fixed ceramic braces. I still have my expander in the top for a few more months.
I can't believe how good the braces look, they are hardly noticable at allI so glad i decided to go for the radiance brackets.
Only alittle aching so far but then it is only day two... im alittle worried about the bands staining but fingers crossed they won't.
Flossing with my braces is quite interesting too hehe

Well ive now had my expanding retainer in for 6weeks.... Things are certainly starting to move. I can feel a real difference when i remove my retainer. My bite has completely changed and feels weird. Not really noticing to many changes from the front veiw tho.
Ive been suffering with really sore heads for the past week. My dentist says it is likely to be the retainer that is causing it because my teeth are starting to move. I cant seem to take anything to get rid of the painDoes
Well it feels like ive had my retainer in forever now, My speach is nearly back to normal which im very happy about!
Although the past week ive had a sore lump on my cheek where the wire has been rubbing, so ive been using the ortho wax and its helping.
Tuesday is the big day!! Getting my bottom braces fixed and he gonna look at my top.
What should I expect from the appointment. Ive got it after work so i can go straight home after. Will it hurt at
Thought id write alittle update.... not that anything has changed
I still can't speak properly and im pretty sure nothing has moved. Although I am eating normal foods again, just avoiding chewy foods.
The teeth that my retainer is meant to be moving back havent moved at all yet. My dentist asked me if I have been turning my retainer but my ortho never told me too or gave me anything to turn it with... Im alittle worried now...
Anyway thats about it really.
Today I had my retainer fitted to expand my top pallet. Within an hour my mouth and face started aching. I suffered from a sore head for the day too. Pain killers didn't seem to do much to help either.
I have constantly been slevering and find it very difficult to eat. Ive stuck to soft bread, soup and banana for today, hopefully tomorrow I will be able to eat more.
I have been lisping all day too, which is really embarrassing lol Ive been told this will ease after
