I was at a business dinner last week and my vendor asked me if I had Invisalign. At first, I was really self-conscious that she said something, but then she said that she only noticed because both she and her husband had had Invisalign. It actually ended up being a positive discussion, with one other person saying that she hoped to get Invisalign in the future, and one other person saying that he hadn't noticed I was wearing them.
All in all, I notice that I'm a lot less sensitive
Just got back from my first checkup since starting Invisalign. My dentist wants to see me before every other tray, so I get a new tray at my appointment plus my next set of trays to take home with me. It's fun to rip into the next package to see the progress I'll be making... helps keep me motivated! So far so good, but I'm a little nervous to get my first IPR before tray #5.
I just returned from a business trip to Germany, during which I had to start trays 2/15. My concerns leading up to this trip ranged from "what happens if I break/lose all of my trays and I can't get to my dentist?" to "do I really have to brush my teeth multiple times in an airplane bathroom?"
