Hey boys and girls, just a quickie.
Had another adjustment on tuesday... (they come around quickly these days)... and got my bottom wire changed again. This time to a thicker one, but unfortunately he had to leave a tooth un-engaged.... mega bummed, but i guess these things will happen. He was unable to get the thicker wire to bend towards the tooth, so we're waiting for more space to appear. I can't help but think that this could be a reacurring problem. This wouldn't be a big deal
G'day, all.
It's now been just over 3 months since i had my Damon braces put on, and things are going very well. As you might remember I had an overbite, and zig-zagging teeth which made me very self concious, but now the top row has straightened up nicely and the gap has started to close.
The bottom row still has a long way to go though. My ordontist has been waiting for the bottom canines to move a little bit more before he could engage the 2 teeth (sorry but don't know specific
It has been around 10 weeks since i last updated my journey... mainly because i couldn't get onto the site...... so i thought i would give a quick update.

I had incredibly crooked teeth and a very bad (well i thought it was) overbite. And being 6ft 3", most people have to look up to talk to me and the gap
Today has been the 3rd day since i got my braces. All i can say is: PAIN!!
I had my Damon Clear braces fitted on Friday and so far I haven't been able to close my teeth as each tooth feels extremely sore. So i have been on basically a liquid diet..... weetabix, protein drinks and mashed up food. Oh yea, and lots of alcohol...
The feeling has been very strange, rather like having a spoon constantly in your mouth, and i can only hope that i will become used to the invading
Hi, today is the day i get my braces.
I have been putting this day off for many years now, but have finally mustered the motivation to get them done. I have an underbite that is, in my opinion, quite bad. As well my top row of teeth are overlapping each other, and my bottom canines have come forward out of place by quite a distance. The overall effect has left me with an unconfident smile.
Today i'll be getting Damon Clear braces that, i hope, will rectify this and
