Being a woman of a certain age means I've had the chance to listen to a LOT of music over my "39" years. Music has been very important to me, I like all sorts of genres, and have seen a gig or two. Let's say I keep up on things and you would want me on your board game team as a pop culture maven.

Almost two years into braces (Oct 6th) and I'm just now in elastics as of yesterday.
I had that dreaded Forsus on the right side of my mouth for far too long and while the Ortho was pretty close to taking it off, this past weekend I inadvertently helped move the timing up. I'm so used to the Forsus that it's easy to forget it is there and I somehow managed to try to take a big bite of a toasted bagel on the wrong side of my mouth.

Hi everyone. It's been 2.5 months since I last posted. Things have been going pretty well. My teeth have been moving a lot in the past few months (ouch) then say, six months ago.
I think the side and back teeth are really starting to catch up. I am going to blog real soon about my past 2 checkups wherein not a heckuva lot happened, but Ortho very happy at last meeting. Pix too.

Hi everyone. I'm finally getting some recent pix up. I had to get a new version of Photobucket. What a great program, I just got it tonight and bam the pix are up. I've recently been using Picasa and have had a tough time with it.
Here's one from the start of things to remind you what we're up against. Yikes. Scarier in person unfortunately. The start of me forever forgetting to put on lipstick before taking pictures.
Good grief!!! It's been FOUR-AND-A-HALF-MONTHS since I last wrote here. It's pretty much been a no news is good news sort of situation. Lots of subtle changes, no big woes.
As of today I've been in braces for 1 year 3 months 3 weeks and 5 days. Gotta love counters. If a civilian <ha ha> asks how long I've been wearing braces I've been rounding up to 1.5 years.
We've got some catching up to do so please get comfy.
