So, I had my appointment today and Dr. Ortho decided to put a few bends in my wire, give me powerchains on the top and bottom and keep me in my kangaroos full time. My mouth hurts quite a bit. I have my next appointment in 7 weeks. It will be just over my one year mark in my braces! I'm quite excited for that.

I also realized that I didn't come back and post a picture. I will definately work on that for you this time

Wow, it's been quite some time since I've blogged about my braces. The last time I was supposed to get elastics and didn't and got really discouraged, despite all of the progress I've made. Well I had my adjustment today and guess what, I got those elastics.

After not having them I was thinking that I was lucky and wouldn't need them, then *BAM* Dr. Ortho says "start her on class II elastics!"

Boo-urns. They kind of really suck and are quite painful. Oh

Hey all!

So I just wanted to update, I got my quad out and my bite turbos out! It was so exciting! I also got new wires and they are thicker than my last ones and already my bite is different! My molar bands also got replaced with brackets and I will get class II elastics.

Hey all,

I updated my blogspot with pictures! I really hope that I have had enough expansion on the top so they can take out my quad helix next adjustment (10 days from now). I also noticed that I have a lot of overjet from the expansion/straitening of the top teeth. I also hope that they take out my terrible turbos. I hate them so much. I have heard people saying they had them in there for 78 or 8 months! I'm not sure how much more I can take of them.

Hey all!

I just got back from my first adjustment. It was pretty quick, but when she took out all of my ligs, it was the weirdest sensation. All of the pressure was suddenly off of my teeth. I don't know what it's going to feel like when they are completely off! Eeek! I almost want the pressure all the time. We'll see...

I got my ligs changes to black on top and purple on bottom. I wish the purple was darker, but oh well. It's kind of halloween with out being obviously
