Hey there, Sorry I didn't respond. I'm not really on this site much. Yes, I had a quad helix expander in, it doesn't require a turning of keys. The loops are adjusted to your mouth (I assume the adjusted the loops on my mould) and it's kind of like an archwire where it wants to go back to it's original position. I have made so much progress. They are closing up my overbite with class II elastics right now. So that's pretty exciting.
Hey kayla i checked out your other blog pictures they looked amazing great progress, read u had an expander, but i thoguht i read it wasnt a RPE or rapid palate expander??
