Hey, everyone. I have a bit of a problem here. Today I popped out one of my bottom wires. It came out from my last molar, and it's cutting into my cheek like crazy. My ortho is in my home town, but I'm at school now, so I can't really go home for an emergency appointment. My next adjustment is in 2 weeks. I called the ortho, and he said it doesn't really matter that the wire is out, and it won't slow down treatment, so I should just cut it, but I can't get it. I also can't keep wax on it. It's driving

Hey there, everyone! I'm new here, just got the braces on a few days ago. I figured I'm start one of these things, because I could use a little support. I'm 20 and a junior in college, and it just seems like the worst possible time for me to be getting braces. I know it's good to get them now, so I can enjoy the good teeth for the rest of my life, but I just can't get over wondering why my dentist only started pushing braces about a year ago when I've had a huge overbite my entire life.
