I changed to tray 6 today, which I was really excited about as it looks like my anterior crossbite is starting to move forwards. This tray had loads of rough edges which I hadn't had before, and its cut my tongue up, so i've been spending ages filing them down.

I was worried about one of my lower front teeth that didn't seem to be moving forwards, but after the two weeks it has moved and the tray was loose.

I had some IPR to my bottom teeth last week and my new aligner has been on for almost a week now. The bottom one is trying to push a tooth that the IPR was done to forwards, but there isn't enough room, and its really hurting! My ortho's away til the end of September, and no one else in the practice can do invisalign! I'm debating whether to leave this aligner in until he gets back or whether to just carry on with the extra sets i've been given!

Got set 5 yesterday, and also IPR in 3 places! They don't feel as tight now at all, and haven't hurt either! Over the last weeks i've also noticed that my jaw doesn't click at all. After my first set of braces when I was 15 my jaw was left clicking and cracking, and its not doing that anymore which is great! Been trying to upload some photos, but my computer won't let me, so i'll have to keep trying!

Saw my orthodontist on Thursday to get aligner 4 and have some IPR and attachments put on. He said he was really happy with how my teeth are moving, and said he thought I don't need the attachments at all!!! I'm so happy! Aligner 4 is going well, was a bit tighter than the others, but my teeth are really starting to take shape! I also asked him to show me my final aligner, and it looks so good that its motivated me alot to carry on!!!

Now into my 6th week of invisalign, going to ortho on Thursday to get more sets, some IPR and attachments. Been so pleased so far with invisalign, and can even see some change in my teeth

Only problem so far has been managing to eat with my aligners in- really stupid of me I know. I cleaned my teeth and aligners straight away, but the aligners are very scratched, and almost a white opaque colour . Can't wait to get my next set!
