So its been almost 3 months since getting the upper linguals on and had another adjustment today. I have one tooth that has been my main issue for years due to overcrowding. When I first got the braces put on there was a spring on the tooth instead of an actual bracket in order to make room. Today I had a little Reprox done to shape the tooth, a bracket placed on it and a new wire put in, so finally the tooth should move into place. I really hope it moves quickly cause of the awkward spaces

So on Wednesday it will be three weeks since I've had my upper linguals applied, and Im getting a little discouraged. Most of the pain has gone away, its easier to eat, and my tongue is okay...but talking is still an issue. It seems like its impossible to talk normally; I have to consciously think about how to form and move my tongue and which words to use and it still seems like I have a bit of a lisp. I hate having to worry about talking, especially words with s's. I dont feel like myself much
