This was yesterday. Appointment was for 3.15pm and I was out of there by 3.40pm, so real quick. I thought I was going to get my ligs replaced as they are no longer white but it doesn't look like they were changed. I asked my Ortho and he said they had been but I am not so sure as they are the same colour they were when I went in

I had some tightening done, he mentioned something about reactivating the wires, and that was me done. He said things were moving along well which...

Woke up this morning, not in any more of a rush than normal, brushed my teeth with the usual due care and downed tools (!) and that is when I must have forgot myself for a hot minute because I did this thing I have an habit of doing, but have not been doing since being fitted and you will soon see why, I rubbed a finger along my top gum line and then went on to do the same on my bottom gum line and that is when it all went pete-tong :ouch:

The pain was immediate and I quickly withdrew...

I kissed someone and I didn't have an accident and no clashing of teeth on metal

I had my make-up on and my hair done and I looked hot even with my braces

I know it sounds shallow but it was the first time I have got all dressed up since being fitted 7 days ago and it was so important to be able to look in the mirror and know that I can still pull it together!

I am going to make braces sexeh I tell ya :rofl:

I think I was a bit cocky a couple of days ago when I announced that I doubted I would ever have a need for wax. Since getting in this evening I have had to put a couple of balls on the ends of my wire. Both of the ends have been fine until today, perfectly clipped and no sharp bits to be felt so I am confused as to what has changed
