Well, after the final consultation, I went back to the original orthodontist. Cost was a major consideration as the 2nd ortho doesn't work with my insurance company, which would set me back an insane amount of money out of my own pocket. Add to this, she was charging close to an additional $1,350 for the same treatment plan.
Last week, I had my oral surgery appointment to have teeth #6 and #12 removed. The canine was impacted and afterwards, I was sutured up from the lateral incisor

Just back from my appointment with the orthodontist. I think I'm going with this one for my surgery, even though the surgeon stated that he'll work with any orthodontist I choose.
She's conveniently located (right next door) to the OMS's office and, they're married, so I know they're collaborating with each other on more than one level.
She's a little more expensive, even with the insurance, but she's also not making any wild
I have my consultation with the OMS tomorrow. Hopefully, I can find out if this will be a medical necessity. My physician seems to think so - she thinks it may be related to my OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).
