I had my braces put on tues 10th Jan. The first day was as though they were tricking me. There was no pain or discomfort and I was telling everyone how great they were. Approx 6hrs later they showed there true colours! Downing painkillers and eating cold jelly helped take the swelling down but it was still uncomfortable.
