Hi!
I am a new member to your forum, happy to be here! I joined because I am doing research for a company, and part of that includes flossing with braces...when I had my braces there were no cool gadgets to aid flossing, so I hardly flossed...we did have those little bush things and that helped... Anyway I would be interest to hear your floss stories/remedies, and what works for you...etc. This new floss product is actually great for people with braces, you can check out the website: brytonpick.com If you have any interest please email me I can arrange for you to have samples to check out! Thanks all! I look forward to hearing from you! Michael |

re: my new post
Thanks for your reply and welcome!
I understand what you mean...the mouth is so sensitive to bacteria and disease...it really is gross when you think about it! But so important to your overall health... The thing I found about flossing, is once you start a realize how important it is, you are addicted! It can be rather uncomfortable...but one must do what one must do. The cool thing I personally like about this 'brytonpick' is that I can carry it an use it after i eat, I think that makes the biggest difference, i can swipe junk out from between my teeth in a jiffy! It did take some getting used to, but no big deal...what doesn't take getting used to! Thanks again, take care! Last edited by Mc1; 02-04-2008 at 05:30 PM. |

HI Mc1,
I'm interested to try brytonpick. It looks so easy to use. I just got my braces on 3 days ago, I chose the In-Ovation C. So far I have no pain at all but it's so frustrating to floss! After a few failed attempts I just gave up Sunny, I bought that OralB Superfloss, but still find it difficult to use. Or maybe I just need a lot more practice? |

I looked at the brytonpik site and watched their demo video and all. What I didn't see was how it addressed the gumline - it only seemed that the users were swiping it through the interproximal space but not really going along the gumline.

HI!
Yes, that is what makes the brytonpick different...it is more a suppliment to floss. Something you can use during the day then there is no time or place to floss properly. The BrytonPick can massage the gumline. As you probably already know, bacteria and plaque forms between the teeth mainly from the decay of food particles; then it moves under the gum line...and this is where problems start. If you floss first thing in the morning, then again at night - there is still a 12 hour period where there is food particles and bacteria forming between the teeth...SO, if you can eliminate the decaying food particles, you put yourself well ahead of the game! This is where Bryton comes in. you keep it in your wallet or pocket/purse and use it quickly after you eat...wipe it off...put back in its pouch...and your interdental spaces are clean! Please write me I will send a sample...

Thanks for the clarification! That's much more in line with how I perceived it as working.
Actually, I'm out of braces now, and in bonded retainers. One of the things that I have noticed is that, be it my electronic brush or be it my manual toothbrush, it doesn't clean as well in the interproximal spaces between the teeth that are bonded. I'm thinking one of these gadgets might be quite the thing, since I am not at all fond of conventional toothpicks. |

hello and welcome! I just got my braces less than two weeks ago, and I'm having such a hard time flossing. I'm interested in the bryton pick and would like to try it out. It looks really simple to floss!
