Just got them off!

Well after 2 years and 8 months I got my metal braces off. I had an edge to edge, slight underbite that was fixed just about totally, however I am still in crossbite on one side, but the ortho decided to leave it..

I used an expander the first few months and then went to braces with elastics and powerbands to seriously shift the teeeth.

I am very happy with my ortho and I found his expertise great. he must have a couple hundred patients at one time so he has seen it all..

Now I am in hawley retainers 24/7.. after reading this board I see it is important to wear them all the time...

Cheers
