    new to site

    Hi been for a consultation for Invisalign and ive been quoted £3000, i would be grateful for any advice before i make any decisions. thanks

    Hi there.

    My advice would be to seek a second opinion before proceeding, just to be on the safe side. This is especially true if the doctor you saw is a general dentist, rather than a specialist orthodontist.

    I agre with Zoso. I went to 5 different places before I saw a general consensus on what they were saying.

    But welcome to the forum!! I was quoted for Invisalign as well but have decided to go with metal braces.

    welcome.. i also prefer an orthodontist, however there are MANY capable dentist these are premium Invisalign providers and have moved their practice to do a lot of invislaign treatment.

    thanks to you all for replying. Ive got an appointment on Tuesday and i will let you know how i get on. The quote was from a general dentist so i will probably get a 2nd opinion. x
