hi again everyone.. well i had my first adjustment appt 2 days ago... was so much better than i had expected and i was worried for nothing... all the dentist did was change my arch wire i think its called?? im really enjoying my braces as they dont really bother me anymore.. have to go back in another 4 weeks..

Thanks Sunny, i went for my 2nd adjustment a week ago and they changed my bottom arch wire, cleaned my teeth and got the rubber bands and some other thing behind my front 2 top teeth to correct my bite..

Hey everyone, well i went for my 3rd adjustment on the 5th of jan. They took out my spacer bar thing (YIPEE!!) They changed my bottom arch wire, put brackets on my bottom 2 very back teeth, they also put a power chain i think its called on my top teeth to close the gap i had. All in all it has been good..

Thanks sunny.. The gap i had is pretty much gone now after only 2 days.. its amazing how fast my teeth have moved and im so gald i was lucky enough to be able to get braces..

Hey everyone, well all has been going really good until today where i had 2 brackets fall off.. Really strange as i dont know why or how they came off as both times i was eating soft food.. Oh well i have to give the ortho a call tomorrow to see if i need them replaced asap of if they will be ok until i go back on the 15/02/10..

Give your ortho a call and they'll schedule them to be replaced. Remember having these brackets off your teeth rarely delays treatment, so don't worry about that.

Sometimes brackets have been loosened prior to coming off, so that when they come off, we can't understand why. It might have been something that happened several days before.

Thanks sunny, I havent had a chance to give my ortho a call yet but im not too worried about them though as they are on either side on my bottom very back tooth..

so ive been super slack in posting.. sorry.. just passed the 1 year mark everything is going fantastic. Going back on the 24th august and hopefully it will be good news and ill be able to get them off really soon.. Im so glad i stuck with it cause it has made a massive difference to my smile..
