Hello Everyone!
I am so excited to be joining this group. I've been bugging Sunny for about a week now and she's still nice to me so I decided to come out of the shadows.
I am a 31 year old mom to two girls under the age of 5. I live in the DFW area. I have about 20 days to go until I get my ceramic uppers. Like many of you I've wanted to "fix my teeth" for several years but something has always come up that was "more important".
I look forward to meeting everyone else who is here on this crazy journey especially other moms and those starting treatment in their 30's.![]()

Hi Carrie,
What a nice thing you are doing for yourself! As a mother myself, I know how difficult it can be at times to set aside the time and/or money to do something for yourself. Kudos to you!
My daughter is now 15, but she has been a great cheerleader for me! I am new to Invisalign (only two and a half weeks into it), and she is getting her "train tracks" off (hopefully) in two weeks. I am a little jealous of her (!) but grateful for my experience because as she moves into her clear retainers, I will truly be able to empathize with her and help support her. In addition, if your daughters ever need orthodontic treatment, you will be in a unique position to help them through those "rough" days!
Good luck, and keep us posted!
