New here

Hi all!

Just wanted to say 'hi' -- I'm new around here but not really that new to braces. I've had them for 6 months already. I thought this would be a cool place to talk about the whole process and everything, since I don't really have any friends in braces anymore. I'm 18 and literally one of the last few people in my senior class with a mouthful of metal, so I really don't have anyone to commiserate with. I wish I knew about this place before my braces went on!!!

Hi and welcome Katie!

It's great that you're so young and having this treatment now. Here's to you being commited to wearing your retainers for life and this being the only time you do this!

The blog section is a great place to share your story and get support from others. If you'd like to read other stories or start your own blog ... click here.

Good luck with your treatment!
