ive seen some amazing results very similar to your case with the same treatment plan...
you may want to to 1 or 2 more opinions and then make the best decision...
Hi everyone!
Ive been unhappy with my teeth for ever but just getting round to doing something about it now. I had a consultation with an orthodontist and he told me that the gaps in my upper teeth were caused by the fact that my lower jay/chin is further out that normal (don't sugar coat it doc) and that the only way to fully close the gaps with braces would be to nove my lower teeth back in 7 millimeters. I considered that for about 0.4 seconds, not gonna happen.
We talked about my options for a bit and now i'm considering this option; As you can see in the pics, the procedure would be braces for just 7 weeks to straighten that crooked front tooth, and then use bonding to fill out the gaps. He said that my (insert name of teeth beside front teeth here) are unusually small anyway so it would look fine. My only concern is that my front teeth might look too big. I suppose the gap will be considerably smaller once the tooth is straightened so it might be OK. The mould looks good but when I look in the mirror it just seems like a big space to fill.
Sorry for the long post! Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks![]()
Hi and welcome to this forum!
I agree with Mike and think you need to consult with a few orthodontist's before making this huge decision.
Good luck!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
I finished my treatment. Just though I'd post the results in case anyone is interested. Treatment was a fixed brace on top for about 3 months to straighten the one front tooth and even out eh gaps, then bonding on the front teeth and the two either side of the front teeth are veneers. I'm very happy with he result

Nah no regrets, except maybe doing a few years ago. It was right on the limit for me financially, came to about $3400, but hey, I have a smile I'm happy with for ever so I guess its a small price to pay![]()
GL with your treatment!
