1st Day with Spacers Blog

Hi, I just made my first blog post!!!!! I hope I can keep this up because I'm interning now, but so far so good. I included a pic of my spacers too.

I suggest that you all bring Motrin to your records appt. and ask to take it before the spacers are put on, I think it makes a world of a difference and like Sunny says, "Rinse with warm salt water."

It's great you're telling your story in the blog section. This is a great way to keep your post together and still get support from this forum.

Hopefully you are comfortable soon! We don't use spacers where I work, so I don't know how they feel!

My spacers didn't cause me any discomfort, so mine were a real breeze.

Lucky . I really only had the dull pain discomfort except for one tooth I named Yoko Ono (the reason is in my blog). Sheesh, she kept me up all night, but now I'm almost on day 2 and she hasn't given me any problems today and since my ortho called in a prescription for Tylenol 3, I'm doing great now. I don't even notice the spacers, just the discomfort o the other teeth, but I'm worried now because I had to schedule my deep cleaning appointment for tomorrow and flossing the teeth without the spacers were a pain. I think I'm just going to take the whole jar of novocaine and smear it all over my right side since my left will have lidocaine in them.
