Hello everyone! Getting braces on in 3 days... nervous!

Hey everyone, my name is Hayley i am 25 years old second time getting braces. I was 13 when I first had braces to fix an overbite. I am getting ceramic braces on top and metal on the bottom. I am kinda nervous about getting the ceramic though because I have heard stories about them being too brittle and breaking easier than metal... I have a few spaces in my top teeth and a "deep bite" I first started thinking about getting braces after I got some fillings done in my top teeth and it messed my bite up and felt lopsided. My dentist had been trying to even my bite out but told me braces might be able to help my bite feel more even on both sides. has this ever happened to anyone?

Great you're able to do this for yourself ... and while you're so young!

Ceramic brackets are the most used bracket by orthodontist's ... so they've gotta be good, coz it's not in their interests to have your treatment last one second longer than it needs to.

Hayley talk to your ortho about the fillings affecting your bite. Hopefully it will be easily sorted.
