I am so very sorry to hear this, but no, I haven't had the same experience.
I'm not a professional, so can't offer an opinion as to whether it's related to your treatment.
I had tradional braces over 4 years ago to correct bite and make room for a dental implant needed - I wore braces for 2 years - I started experiencing pain in very front right upper anterior a year after braces were removed and have had to root canal - I am now experiencing multiple upper/lower tooth pain and will need many root canals - I regret terribly having braces now - and fear I will lose my upper and lower anterior teeth due to the braces - has anyone else experienced this ?

So sorry to read about what's happening to your teeth.
Have you talked to your ortho to ask if your orthodontic treatment may have caused some of these problems?
I hope your teeth are saved and you soon are free from problems.
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
Hi there, yes I am sorry to say that I have had multiple root canals after getting my braces off. I didn't even need braces to begin with, I was just so caught up with getting a "perfect" smile. *sigh*
My parents didnt want me to get braces either, and no its not just because of the money. My mom knew I didnt need them so why get them. But getting them was not the worst part. At all.
You see, I went to a very greedy orthodontist who totally messed up my teeth. She first said I would only have them for about 6 months. When I was about 4-5 months in the process I asked her when I would be getting them off and she then said 7-8 months. And then after my I asked why the sudden change she said 4-5 months again. I knew she was playing around.
I went to another ortho who said she was going in circles. She was basically tightening and then loosening the braces. I am thankful for the honest ortho that fixed my teeth.
Unfortunately, I have been getting root canals nonstop. I am starting to think I dont really need them? That my dentist now is just doing it for the money? But I have been experiencing alot of pain. And I don't know if it is normal to feel after braces...Probably not. *sigh*
I should have listened to my parents. I have had about 4 root canals so far. And let me tell you something. I am not getting any more done until I cant sleep at night. Because thats what a root canal would do. Oh what do I know I am not a dentist. But I do know that there are dentists who fool around out there. They may be nice at first but get to know them before they perform experiments on you and give you a life changing experience. Check if they are board certified.
I am starting to think that God is punishing me for not listening to my parents. I practically made them get me braces. I was such a fool.
Am I going to have to live through this my whole life? Not knowing how to get rid of it? How to treat it? And not knowing what really happened to my teeth... I live with it every day.
Dont make the same mistake I made. Dont get braces if you dont need them.
Best wishes
