Why are you getting braces?

I have severe crowding and my canine teeth are at the top of my gums (?). Anywho, after sometime i've finally been able to afford treatment! I've had my braces for 3 months and the hardest part was having 4 bicuspids removed (ouch). I hope after the 2 years and money spent, i'll look normal most of all and wont be worried every time i see a camera :/. Its upset me for years-i'm excited to put it all behind me soon.

So what do you hope to achieve with braces and how do you think it will effect your life?

I have been wearing my braces from January. I am twenty five and this is my second time wearing braces. I've hated my teeth all my life and always got bullied. My front top teeth stick out and i was sick of people commenting on them and i hated looking at photos. Already they have started to move back and i've even had a couple of positive comments about my teeth moving back. I haven't had to get any teeth out which is good. The worst thing for me is the mouth ulcers. I was so glad to find this website as I don't know anybody my age that wears braces. I hope your treatment goes well. If ya wanna know anything just send me a mess.

hi I just got invisalign braces a few days ago. I got tem because everyone always tells me I have a nice smile and now I want nice teeth to go with it. my top teeth have alot of spacing that I want to close. I have a deep bite. and my bottom teeth have two slightly crooked teeth. some of my molars and canine teeth do not line up correctly with the top and bottom.

I've always been very self-conscious about my teeth as I have a bad crossbite. When I smile I always try to cover my teeth, particularly my top ones which are the most crooked. I decided to have them straightened because I would finally like to be able to laugh and smile without worrying about how bad they look. I've only just started with Invisalign and I will be having 20 trays on my top teeth and 13 on my bottom so I have a long way to go but I am excited that I am slowly improving them
