hello. i am 20 years old and chose to go private with invisalign. i was due to have 10 sets of trays for the top, and 19 for the bottom. I completed my top 10 trays within about 20 weeks, however my teeth were still no where near straight. My orthodontist was happy to take new impressions for some extra trays to be ordered. about 10 weeks later (ridiculous!) i recieved 6 more trays for the top. I am half way through these but my teeth do not appear to have moved very much. I am beginning to get worried as my orthodontist told me I can only order 3 refinements free of charge and have to pay for the others. What if I am still not satisfied with my teeth after the refinements? How much am I looking to pay for more? I know I have been wearing my aligners correctly as my bottom set of trays are coming along perfectly and are right on track. They look perfectly straight now and I still have 3 trays to go! It's just my top teeth that are causing me problems! Is it just that my top teeth are being stubborn and not moving?
