hi im new here and im kinda confused about how to post questions but i guess i could try this. so ive had my braces for 2 years now which was when my dentist said they were coming off. well they arent off at the moment and now hes telling me that they are coming off in april. im really nervous because hes going to put a device in my mouth that is supposed to fix my overbite and i kno im not going to be able to chew with it on until my teeth straighten. hes also decided to put a second set of brackets on my back molars because they came in crooked. the wires are KILLING me. It is worse than the tooth pain and i cant even move my jaw to attempt to chew without cutting my cheek. ive tried dental wax and gum but it doesnt stick. help me please has anybody else been in this situation? thanks

Hi, you maybe want to try in the braces forum? This is the welcome forum. I don't think I could stand what you are going through though so best wishes with that.
