    reaction of cement

I am wondering if anyone else has ever had a reaction to the glue/cement used to hold on the brackets. I had braces years ago and recently had them placed on the bottom, but instead of getting used to them, I felt like pulling my teeth out of my head. I don't remember reaction like this years before, but after 9 days with the new braces, I am going to have them removed. Has anyone heard of this before? I absolutely can't have these on any longer. Please let me know if there is any documentation on tooth nerves being sensitive to the glue.

never heard of this before.. I wonder if the cement got on your gums?

Go for invisalign... if you are not a mild to severe case the retainers will do the job just fine and best of all no cement or brackets.
