Hello.

I'm Micki. Today is my first day of Invisalign treatment. This is my second time in orthodontia. My first time was 10 years ago. I had traditional braces. When I got those taken off, I had small spaces in between my back teeth. I should have known...I should have known....

Next thing I know my teeth started to go back to their original spots. THREE retainers later...I decided to get Invisalign and a new ortho.

I have a serious overbite that was never fully addressed in my first treatment. My midlines were off. Again, my misaligned tooth was doing it's thing.

So, I had the Invisalign installed. Right before the installation, I realized that I didn't know ANYTHING about Invisalign. I was surprised that there was bonding involved. The dentist told me, but it didn't register. In addition, they rambled off a litany of dos and don'ts, wills and won'ts. I don't remember anything.

I struggled to remove the bottom tray. I removed it along with one of the rubber band hooks. FML!

I'm here to learn and for encouragement. Thanks for reading this.

So, did you wear the retainers? And they still moved?
