Hey, extremely EXTREMELY worried guy here!

Hi, I got braces put in a week ago, and they are terrifying! :'( I've looked on loads of sites, and they ALL say loose teeth are normal, but how loose?! And today, when I was cleaning my teeth, one even started bleeding! :'( I just need reassurance, cose I'm totally new to this! Please please help! :'( Thanks

Oh man, I thought I was completey crazy too. I got braces on a few weeks ago, I just had extractions, so I have not had my 1st "adjustment" yet. A few nights ago, I was flossing my teeth, and it felt like I turned my tooth around, because all of a sudden everything was TIGHT and hurt. I am also kind of freaking out, because I never used to hit my teeth together in the front, and now I do all the time, and it hurts like hell. I keep telling myself that one of these times I am going to knock a tooth out by accident.

Oh, and I have not got to the point that simply brushing my (front) teeth isn't a painful experience yet.

We all feel like we're alone in this process. Especially if you're an adult (like me) without peers to talk to that have braces! Lol. My front teeth are STILL tender. I keep bumping them with my lower teeth, causing them to feel "knocked out" for a while. It sucks... I hope THIS is normal.
