3M self ligating brackets

Hi

I've had three consults and one of the orthodontists uses the 3m self ligating brackets. He'd put ceramic on top and metal on my lowers.

The brackets look ok, feel ok to my finger, but I didn't like it that the ceramic ones have a metal clip on either side of the ceramic bracket.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've decided not to go with the ortho who offers these brackets.

I'm sure the brackets are ok, but this ortho had less personality than the other two I've chosen to have a second consult with.
