Loose teeth

I woke up this morning with the feeling that my left molar (#2 i believe) is loose. Why is this happening? It's the only tooth that's loose & i'm worried. As of today, I'm being very precautious by not interfering with it & not chewing on my left side when i eat. Has anyone experienced this before?

P.S. I've been wearing elastics for about a week now (@ nights - ortho's orders) so i'm not sure if that's the cause. Although it couldn't be, because the elastics are worn on my upper left canine & the lower tooth below it.

Any comments?

Silvermist teeth have to loosen to move, and sometimes we notice some teeth being loose more than others. When you feel a tooth has become loose, this is something to celebrate, as it should mean progress!

If you become more concerned about this tooth, give your ortho's office a call and check with them.
