Elastics.:)

Hey everyone!
I got an adjustment 10 days ago,and I got elastics over my front teeth.They're for closing the gaps I have.
I'm seeing massive improvement already.
Is it normal to see improvement so early?^^

When you write, that you got elastics over your front teeth ... to close gaps ... are they elastics, as in the type you have to change every day, or are they powerchains, where the small O of each one is attached to the one beside it and they go over your brackets and stay there until your ortho changes them?

I found when I had powerchains, I saw progress immediately ... like the day they were put on. With elastics I also had progress quickly ... but the powerchains were more amazing.

It seems for most people with gaps, that powerchains do a great job. I found this type of movement provided huge motivation ... as it proved my teeth can and do move!

I've had powerchains for most of the past 2 1/2 years and they continue to keep my gaps closed and are working hard to bring four teeth forward on my upper right side.
