    Types of Removable Retainers

    I'm probably going to replace my permanent retainers (which followed traditional ortho work) with removables, and I understand there are different kinds of removable retainers.

    Can anyone provide an overview of the types of removable retainers, their pros and cons? Any wisdom from personal experience here?

    i still like the hawley retainers as they can be adjusted and made tighter if needed...

    I'd just like a retainer ...
    After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
