I actually have the same Exact thing.. i dont worry about it as your teeth look great.. the only way to fix that is through cosmetic dentistry.....
So My orthodontist has told me that I am in the last 6 weeks of my treatement and then it would be time to remove my braces. However... I am a little concerned as I feel there is still a space between my canine and the front teeth. When I told My orthodontist he told me that the space is due to the shape of my teeth and that my teeth are touching at the top.
I feel like when i smile there is still a space and I am sad that I paid all this money and there are still spaces in my teeth.
Here are the pictures tell me what you think. I'm curious as to what the orthodontists on here think. Thank you.

That "space" is appears to be the natural shape of your tooth. The crown of the canine (white part of the tooth that you see) is naturally more bulbous in the middle and tapers down to a sharper point at the biting surface. The teeth should be touching so that your floss "snaps" in between. If that is the case, there is truly no "space" between your teeth and as mentioned, you can leave it as is, or go for cosmetic finishing.

Your teeth look fantastic Jaxdok and the shape of your canine looks totally natural, which is great!![]()
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
I can't wait until my teeth look like that!! I'd say your treatment was a resounding success. You could always get your tooth puttied (or whatever they call it) to close in that gap. My ortho told me I'd most likely have to have that done because my laterals are smaller than my other teeth, so he's going to leave a small gap so I can have them built up to match the size of the rest of my teeth. My laterals were almost completely twisted before I started treatment. They are still crooked, but are on their way to straightening and I'm SUPER excited!
