Braces tightened,side effect..Help?

I got my braces tightened today..And a bracket glued,finally.
But..
My two front teeth are starting to split!Is that normal?

Gaps are going to come and go during the treatment. I had a gap open up in between my two front teeth...hated it but had to live with it for about a month until I went back and they put a band on them to bring them back together. That was sooo tight...the gap was gone before I left the parking lot..! Hurt but glad it was gone!

Woah,that's pretty awesome!
The gap I have now came an hour after I went to the ortho.
But thank you,now I know it'll go away.=)

If you're concerned, give your ortho a call.

I agree totally with what Candy has written. My ortho had my two front teeth pulled apart, so that they could then move back side by side. I had this amazing gap for a few months, but it was great after those two teeth having been crossed for many, many years!
