Edge to edge bite?

Does anyone know how long it will take for Class III elastics to correct an edge to edge bite? Does/did anyone here have/had one?

(If I manage to wear my elastics as often as possible)

I can't remember ... but I think for me it took about six months of wearing elastics full time ... except for when I brushed at night. I'm still wearing elastics ... has been three years of elastics now, but now for a mixture of reasons. My right side is still not in class I, but mostly that's due to the gap over my impacted canine still not being totally closed, but my left side has been in class I for a couple of years ... I think.

I've worked with patients who've achieved a class I bite from a dental edge to edge in less than six months and other's who've taken longer. Mostly this is an individual process related to how your teeth move and other work that is happening in your mouth.

Wearing elastics needs commitment and it's important for your treatment and the health of your teeth and gums, that you do as your ortho instructs.

just the slightest movement with elastics can help your edge to edge... in my case it was about 6 months like sunny said.
