arch wire...

hello everyone,
I actually have another question and I don’t want to keep bothering my ortho. Well my top archwire looks like it has 3 etched lines in them. Is this supposed to do something with adjusting the midpoint of the teeth. It seems my top midline is very slightly to the left, not centered.( I don’t think it was like this before) Well those 3 etches are off to the left also. So will this move my midline to the right a little to even it out? Does anyone know what those 3 etches lines are on the archwire. and what they do?

The lines denote the midline and some companies have 3 marks on the upper wire and a single mark on the lower wire, while others have one colour on one arch, and a different one on the other. In the initial stages, I wouldn't be too concerned as the NiTi wire is going to level and align the arch anyways. In the later stages, the midline on the wire should be as possible to the dental midline.
