    First tightening! :-D

I smile...but I'm in pain! I got my first tightening today and with wayyyy less discomfort than the first time. I am just useing more wax this time. So...I don't understand ortho lingo...but I have 20/20 on both top and bottom, power chain all across the bottom and power chain on my top front four. That's where I have the gap, besides the other small spaces all over. I'm somewhat excited because my gap will be closing...kinda bittersweet too, becuz this gap is a family tradition . Everyone on my dad's side has this gap of different sizes. That little wayward tooth should be fixed too...or so the ortho says. We'll see because I didn't have it before treatment. I will take a picture and post later. I want to have an album of my progress.

Sounds like a great adjustment Rebel and here's to your mouth feeling heaps better ... and looking heaps better very soon!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!

Congrats on your first adjustment! Sounds like you're moving right along.

Perhaps you will start a new family tradition by having that gap closed and a wondeful new smile that will want your family to have theirs closed as well! You know it's never too late to get braced!

    Best of Luck! Ken.
