    Thumbs up Canker sore/Ulcer Update!

    Hi all!

I had my 5th adjustment last week and ow those thick arch wires really do move mountains! Any ways, I had the beginning of a canker sore from where the ortho was trying to cut the wires at the back but due to a tricky angle "nicked" my cheek in error. One of the technicians advised me to try MANUKA Honey. It can be used on cuts, sore throats all sorts of things. You just place a little of the honey on the sore 3 times a day leaving it for 15 mins before you brush to get rid of the sugary-ness. It works and its not expensive and its tastes nice!!

    Hope this helps. xxxxx

That is an amazing product ... and came from the manuka flowers that are native to New Zealand.

Great that you're finding it working so well. Also keep up the warm salt water rinses ... and you should never have another product.

    Good luck with your progress!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
