Unhappy Please help me im desprate!!!!

Hi, im brand new to this site...... I just need some help and answers.
Im 23 years old and unfourtuntly I lost alot of teeth about 2 years ago.
I lost my lower left and 2 lower right moalers. I was then given a plate as a replacement (denture)
I had very big problems with my denture..... I was getting sores, blisters and it got that bad i couldnt even talk or eat with them. I went back to my dentist time and time again and she said I just have to get use to it?

So i ended up not wearing them and kept trying with my dentist to help, because i never wore my denture my lower teeth have and are still moving, my lower teeth are pushing on my upper teeth as well. In the space of 6 months I have now got alot of gaps between my teeth and my teeth poke out alot!!!!!

I went and sore a orthodontis just for consultation, to see if she could bring my over bite back, move my lower teeth so they were no longer pushing my upper teeth and then having a splint to keep them inline. she said this can not happen as I have no lower moalers? Is this true? do I have no choice? please help? im begging ????

As far as I know you could get impants and orthodontics to help get your teeth where they are supposed to be... Go ahead and get several opinions. I had a friend with a very similar issue. He actually lost a few teeth from an accident and his teeth totally shifted and he has to get orthodontics to fix....

You need to consult with more orthodontist's. It is possible that due to bone loss etc, that this movement may not be possible, but you still need to be sure that you've been given the correct answer.

Dentures can be made so that they are comfortable. So if this does end up being the best option for you. Consult about the denture, until you find someone who'll support the product you have made.

    Good luck!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!

Sorry to hear you have had problems with your dentures; your dentist should have made them more comfortable for you. A good dentist probably could have made them to fit better in the first place.
