Eastbros you need to ask your ortho about this tooth, but from the photo it appears there's not enough space on that tooth for a bracket to be properly placed. Your ortho will most likely be working on aligning your teeth first, so that your canine becomes more exposed and also so there's less risk of a bracket on it being knocked by the lower teeth.
If this is the reason this tooth isn't bracketed, then it should happen as soon as your teeth start to align ... which may be a month, two months or six months etc.
Talk to your ortho about your treatment plan and hopefully you'll get a more accurate idea of what's planned!
