    Exclamation Full arch. Help!

My ortho just decided to take a full arch wire and attatch it to my bands on my back two molars. I only have bracets on my front 4 teeth, so the wire passes over most of my teeth. I just got back, and the wire is moving up and down in the band tubes (they are still in place). Is this normal? Please help; I want to get it fixed if something is wrong. Thanks.

I'm not sure why this is being done, but if your ortho is doing it as part of your treatment, I'm sure it must be 'normal'. It's a long way for the archwire to travel over your canine and premolars without support, so this would explain why the archwire will move.

Give your ortho a call if you have any concerns!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
