Wire Position

I just got my braces on Friday (25, Feb.) Only on the top teeth tho.

Anyway, my dentist didn't put a bracket on one of my front teeth so it's just the wire going across it. That tooth is left untouched, so to speak.

When I first got them on, the wire that doesn't have a bracket attached to it was going across the "untouched" tooth in a certain way. It's been 5 days and now it's in a different position.

It's kind of hard to explain.

I've only been eating with my back teeth, I don't bite anything at all!

I was wondering, is this normal? Will the wires shift as the days go by?

I was thinking that maybe I was brushing too hard?

Your teeth are moving You're going to see things shift around a lot during your treatment. Don't be too alarmed to see things moving around. The things you need to be cautious of is breaking brackets, knocking them loose off your teeth, breaking power chains (if/when you ever have one), stuff like that.
