Unhappy with my teeth post-braces
Hello all!
I have had braces for about 11 months. I took them off in January, a month or two early because I had to leave to Spain.
I am and have been extremely consistent with wearing my retainers.
I have noticed that my teeth are still quite unattractive. My two front upper teeth stick out a lot.
And my lower teeth are not that nice either.
I talked to my ortho and he said that I should just keep on wearing my retainers and that I am worrying about my upper teeth. I don't want to be a nuisance to him but I am really still unhappy with the way my teeth look.
Am I obsessing over nothing or do you guys think my teeth can still use some more improvement?
And do you think that my ortho did a bad job?
Will getting invislign be a waste of money? If anyone has any advice, please help me! Anything will help.
Even if it's telling me to stop being so anal, haha.

I also think your teeth look fantastic but YOU have to be happy with them, I would seek out my ortho and let them know you aren't happy with the results and to please finish his work

Agreeing with the comments above - they look great!
Can't see the problem from those photos but you know, its your smile! If i saw concern I'd be right back at the ortho office to talk about it.
I'm not dealing with braces for that long for a result im not happy with :P

I think your teeth look great! However if you are unhappy you need to let him know it. You invested a lot of money in your teeth and to not be happy is a definite NO NO. Sit down with a mirror write down what you dislike about them and go back before your Doctor with it and I am sure you will be happy with the results.

Your teeth look GREAT! Talk to your ortho again if you want but I think there's nothing wrong with your teeth, they look amazing

hey there im due to get my braces off tomorrow and i am really unhappy with my teeth tooo :/ as i dont think my bite is correct.

If that is you trying to bite down then there's no way your treatment should be done tomorrow. And your teeth alignment could use assistance too.Originally Posted by BraceFace23

I think you look great. I agree with the above comments. You paid for it, and should be satisfied. Just make sure that your expectations are also reality.. (like, I want my teeth to look like angelina jolie, but that will never happen because i only have 24 teeth. LOL!)

First day with brackets: 12/05/2011. 4 Extractions: 12/12/11. 1st Adjustment: 01/04/12. 2nd Adjustment: 2/15/12 Pulling the canine down. 3rd Adjustment 3/28/12 (canine's in the wire, and pulled into position!). 4th adjustment: 5/16/2012 (closing the gaps!)

I also had the same question, is this how you bite naturally? if so, I would really question getting them off so soon.
