Damon Clear or Traditional?

I'm getting damon braces tomorrow and I am wondering if I should get clear or traditional. Do the clear ones look bad? Do they stain? Does it take longer for them to work? Thanks!! (:

The brackets do not stain, it would be the ligatures on your teeth that has the possibility of staining, especially if they are clear/white. Clear or tooth colored brackets blend into your teeth and don't stand out as much as regular metal brackets, but they are not invisible. Even with clear brackets you will still be able to tell that you have braces in your mouth, just less noticeable.

thanks! i got the clear ones today and they look pretty good! In pictures you can't even tell they are there!! they don't hurt at all! I have one problem though... i cannot smile with my lips together without my braces poking though... will this correct itself in time or will i have to live with this until i get my braces off??? Thanks again!!!
