Anybody got feedback for QuicKlear brackets & Biocosmetic archwire by Forestadent?

Im still on the hunt for the perfect self ligating system for me (i chose self ligating because i cant have braces which require adjustments every month).
My budget was 75,000 philippine pesos max (approx $1,704.54 USD)
I really wanted a clear or white look (like damon clear or the clear inovation) but those brackets were so dam expensive :'( 100-150k pesos quoted from like 10 different dentists.

Today i stumbled upon QuicKlear brackets and Biocosmetic Archwire which is made by Forestadent (german company). Pls see the link- QuicKlear brackets - FORESTADENT® - Bernhard Förster GmbH
One dentist offered it to me for 70k as a promo price. This is in my budget so its got me seriously interested!!

Has anybody heard, know of or had experience with this system?? I want to know if these brackets and archwire stain? And if they are strong or prone to breakage?
    Appreciate replys, Thx so much!

    Dear Mestizabarbie,

I work at Forestadent in Germany and it's great to hear that you were thinking about getting treated with our products. Your post is from some time ago and you probably made you decision already but I still would like to give you a brief answer on this.

The QuicKlear bracket is one of our most successful products. It is in the second generation now and from what we hear very reliable and precise. The bracket itself is ceramic and doesn't have any rubber or plastic parts so it won't stain from foods (white plastic brackets tend to do so - they can turn almost pink from tomatoe sauce for example).
Also we get extremely little reports of broken brackets.

Our BioCosmetic wire is pretty new (we just finished a few more sizes and now offer a complete sequence) but we already got a lot of positive feedback. Normally tooth colored archwires are metal wires "painted" white. During the treatment the color will peel off so you see bits of the metal. For the BioCosmetic wire we use a tooth colored tube (pretty much like a little hose) with a smaller metal wire as a core in the middle. The outer material is very durable compared to paint so it last for a much longer time. The material also is hydrophobic (no liquid will stick on it) so it won't stain as well.

Let me just add one more thing: As a manufacturer we are of course very convinced about our products. For you as a patient it is most important that you find an orhtodontist that you trust. Some treatments that are great for one patient might not work well for another. No matter what information you'll find on the internet take your time to discuss it with your orthodontist.
Anyway I hope I helped you a bit and if you have any more questions feel free to ask.

    Best wishes,

    Holger.
