I have been in braces now almost 24 months and will probably be in them another six months. I have finally received my powerchains on both top and bottom. You would think i would have had them on as soon as my teeth were pulled but not the case.

I never had a powerchain on the bottom until about two weeks ago. For quite sometime i had the first upper six in powerchains and tads. Then I wore class ii elastics for about four mobths and then all elastics and powerchains were removed for settling. Over the course of treatment i may have had my lower wire changed three times and my upper foue tine i think.

I need my spaces to close where my bicuspids were removed. My right side is moving quixkly while my left is crawling....its still as open as the day they did the extraction. I will pist pics of my progress when I get home as i just typed this all from my phone.

Now Im just waiting... I just want straight and perfect teeth and its coming very slowly. I have no idea how much longer but my dentist thinks i may not get them off until August 12' so it looks like my orthodontist underestimated.

How long were you braced , in elastics and powerchains? Tads??? How many wire changes before removal of your braces?
