Wink Braces are due to come off but...

Hello there, i am new to this forum and i have joined because i have a few concerns about my teeth/braces.
So if you could take a few moments to read through this, then i will appreciate that

Well i have had traditional braces for about 3 years and about a week ago my ortho told me that i should be getting my braces off next week (WED 1st FEB). Yeah i know i should be happy about it but im really not, i love my bottom teeth as they're really straight, but its my top teeth which are bothering me the most.
    So here's my problem...

So yeah take a look at these images and let me know what you think, the main thing is that got me concerned is my bite doesn't look like my friends, like her top teeth are in front of her bottom teeth like this:

So yeah, let me know what u think xxxxx

Id be very greatful if you could reply xx
    bye for now

From looking at those photos, I can see why you're concerned.

Personally, before the braces are removed, I would 1) phone and tell your ortho you would like to have one more meeting with him before your braces come off (and then tell him why you're not happy) and 2) make an appointment for another qualified ortho in your area and get a second opinion.

Good luck! I too will be getting my braces off soon.
Bonded retainers fitted upper and lower & braces removed at 19 months 2 weeks.

    Braces were:

    In-Ovation C on the top
    Damon on the bottom

I'm sorry to say this but honestly I feel that there is something ... not right as it should be after brace. Hope you can fix this with your ortho. I'm not a dentist but as far as I know at the end of the treatment all bracket must be at the same level (so the dentist might insert a straight wire, that's why the technique is called straight wire low friction) but I think the brackets on your canines are somewhat higher than the rest ...
