New to the forum, but not to braces!

Hi guys!

I'm 27, engaged, and I have braces. I hate when people feel uncomfortable asking about them, so sometimes I think I offer too much information up front, or I say things like "so excited that these will be off before my wedding!" I'm not super self-conscious about them, but I do wish I had listened and gotten them when I was in middle school, rather than waiting so long and then NEEDING them. Regardless, it's not terrible.

I'm 70 weeks in, and I have about 30 weeks to go. Both my tops and my bottoms have rectangular hybrid wires. Next visit is right before my sister's wedding, so he's taking off my brackets from 4-4 top and bottom, and then doing some minor reshaping of my front two teeth. Then I get them back on a week later, and then I'm in the home stretch! I wear bands on my left side during the day (canine to 6), and on the right side day and night (canine to 7).
