    Coil (spring) on teeth

    Hello,

I have a coil (spring) from my front tooth to my eye tooth for the last 3 months. This last week or so it has been rubbing inside of my lip and leaving a train track kind of mark and it hurts. Has anyone else had this problem before and if so how did you deal with it, did you use wax on it?

    Thank you for your help

    Hey there,

I had mine for about 6 months, drove me crazy. I used wax on it and didn't remove the wax until I went about a day with no pain in that spot. Also once in a while the coil would rotate and the sharp end part would catch my lip; when that happened i would just rotate the coil if i could so the sharp part didn't touch. Hope that helps
