Please help me , I have some questions!

I come from Italy and I really need your help please. Is about my wife's jaw. She feels depresed, she treats me bad sometimes all because of her jaw. She has not a straight face (you can see a picture on this post) but is scared to do the surgery. She has been to the doctor before to know me and she doesn't want to speak about that, she feels really bad. Everytime she asks me if she is more beautiful than my ex gf-s, a lot of questions, she feels herself not beauty, not normal as the majority of the people.
Myself I haven't been to a doctor to ask him about her jaw, but thanks God I found this forum and hope you will help me. Please give a look of the picture and answers to my questions:
Can she do a surgery, is it dangerous?
Look good, her jaw is not straight, her teeth are not correctly, is possible to do the surgery and to have a normal face?
How long it takes?

And so on.
Sometimes she has pain and is more shown when she laughs. I think it is cross bite, but I am not sure. Your advices are welcome!

Please, give me a bit of time to read this text because I really feel bad for her and i love her more than myself, as she is. Honestly I didn't know about her problem when we met,, after many months she told me.

i know how your wife feels and she is lucky to have found someone like you. I have a class3 malocclusion and knew that i would need surgery, so first step is to maybe make an appointment at an orthodontist and a maxillo-facial surgeon. they will give you a consult, take some images of her and recommend steps into approving her appearance. I am 33 and decided to start my journey - and i already feel better about myself even if i am all braced up, at least i know that in just under 2 years i will have my surgery. I have done lots of research about the surgery and have even watched wuite a few youtube video's and have not yet seen a bad review...everyone just seems so happy after they had their surgery and i cannot wait. Tell your beautiful just to go have her consultation and maybe she will feel a lot better about herself.... Ones self esteem really does get one down on many days but only she can change that!

Michelle, thanks a lot my sis!

Today I tried to speak with her but she just changed the topic. I really love her with all my heart and I try to speak with her to give my force, my presence till the end of the life, to make her life easier, telling stories of many people who had their surgeries and they are just HAPPY and fine with their RESULTS!

Thanks for your advices. I am really looking forward to do an appointment with a doctor and to show him\her some pics and hope he will help me out. I never noticed any problem to her face until she told me herself. Anyway, I love her the way she is, very beautifull , smart and intelligent. I am sure if she could do the surgery (she is scared to die, I am sure) and to have a normal face she will be way happier.
